Rose McGowan recently appeared on the Animal Planet special called Dogs 101 to discuss Boston Terriers. This video is a gem and surely an interesting watch for all the fans as you can see a candid Rose playing with her dog at home. I doubt Rose will appear on 30 Rock. It is very likely just another IMDb rumor as she is not listed in the official description for the episode, titled Gavin Volure. However, if it turns out that Rose will appear on the episode, I will bring you screencaps and video of the appearance.

When Jack (Baldwin) and Liz (Fey) are invited to a dinner party at Gavin Volure’s mansion (guest star Steve Martin), Jack is let in on a secret business opportunity and the eccentric host becomes enamored with Liz. I am happy to report that we finally have something new regarding Red Sonja! The big news is that the movie has been pushed back and is now due in 2010, instead of 2009. Which is unfortunate because I know we are all craving for some new Rose material, especially as her Nip/Tuck appearance is also not due until 2010.

Now more details of the story have emerged courtesy of MovieSet.com, who got ahold of a new poster and a story breakdown for the upcoming flick.

It seems that the movie will follow Sonja’s transformation from a victim of savagery to the “Red Goddess’ Blade of Justice”. She teams with mischievous childhood friend Cyrus and mentor Ozzyus to hack her way through the forces of evil Kulan Gath and exact revenge for the brutal slaying of her family. FX came out with a new press release today announcing the return of Nip/Tuck on January 6, 2009, and this appears:

Guest stars include Sharon Gless, Portia de Rossi, AnnaLynne McCord, Bradley Cooper, John Schneider, Jennifer Coolidge, Morgan Fairchild and Katee Sackoff.

So it looks like Sackoff will portray Dr. Theodora ‘Teddy’ Lowe for the continuation of the sixth season so we won’t get Rose’s episodes until the seventh season, which kicks off January 2010. Katee will then be replaced by Rose.

For all those who have been asking us whether or not Red Sonja is being filmed at the moment - unfortunately, we don’t know. It seems like there’s endless speculation regarding Rose’s recent projects and no real facts. There has not been any actual Red Sonja news for months and no additional cast has been announced. So, unfortunately, we have no information of what the status of the project is at the moment.

Yesterday Miss McGowan attended a launch party in Beverly Hills for photographer Matthew Rolston’s book called BeautyLight. Rose wore a little black dress and her signature glasses. She looked very cute, didn’t she?
