Tattoo

One of Rose McGowan’s most distinctive trademarks is a tattoo of a beautiful raven-haired pin-up girl on her shoulder, which she got done at the mere age of 12! It is perhaps a symbol of to her love of Old Hollywood and the female icons of the time. Rose has revealed that the image actually comes from a design that her grandfather had painted on the side of his WWII plane. The tattoo has also been visible in a number of her movies, mainly her early "bad girl" roles. Rose has been in the process of removing the tattoo from her back since 2004 and it is barely visible today. "Now I am trying to remove it. It is very expensive and painful. See, it has become a kind of blue spot," she says.

The Log

A definite must-have item for Rose is a Louis Vuitton "log" design bag, which she takes quite literally everywhere with her! She has them in at least four colors; green, baby yellow, orange and the newest addition - red, and several different sizes.

"I own two Louis Vuitton 'log' bags. My friends think I am crazy because I am never without one of them. I have a baby yellow log and a big green log. The big one comes with a mini evening log. They are quirky and a bit strange-looking, but I love them."

Shoes

Rose is a huge lover of shoes, especially ones with very high heels. "My theory is if you're going to be uncomfortable and wear heels, you might as well wear supertall ones!" She owns literally hundreds of pairs, many courtesy of the wardrobe department over at the WB. McGowan usually gets hers from Diavolina, which is known for their outrageous collections of shoes from the hottest designers. She also loves Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton and Manolo Blahnik kitten heels. Rose says she has an entire closet built just for shoes. Along with the heels, she has a fashion fetish for Mella flip-flops. "They're not like those tragic, chunky mall shoes that some people wear."

Lipstick

"I came out wanting red lipstick"... "I'm all about a nice solid red lipstick"... Lets face it – our Rose absolutely loves her red lipstick! When in her natural hair color, Rose prefers red lipstick and favors shades by Chanel. "Chanel makes a good classic red." When she dyed her hair strawberry blonde, Rose went with hot pink and coral tones for her lips, and pink has remained her statement color for the past several years.

The Ring

Since spring 2007, Rose has been wearing this beautiful diamond ring to nearly every event she has attended. Perhaps a gift from her described best friend, director Robert Rodriguez, as it definitely bears special meaning to our favorite lady.

Others

During her free time, Rose has recently rarely been photographed without sporting at least one of these items; the cool sunnies, the oversized grey bag and a pair of black combat boots. She often wears all three of them together, as seen in the pictures above. Wheather with a pair of tiny shorts, a black mini or skinny jeans, Rose always wears her favorite accessories with class.
