I first noticed Rose McGowan in Scream back in 1997. I was 13 at the time and it was the first horror film that I ever saw in the cinema. As soon as Ms. McGowan stepped on the screen, I was completely taken by her beauty and presence. She was Tatum Riley, a witty and sassy high school student and best friend to Sidney, the heroine of the Scream franchise. To me Tatum was much more than just a goofy sidekick or a hot ass in those funky red pants. She had the best lines and had me laughing in tears. I just loved that character and Rose's portrayal of her.

Fast-forward to a decade later, 2007. I am still a huge fan of Rose McGowan, probably more so than ever. Rose has come a long way and even though I do not personally know her, I still get the sense than she's the same honest and fun lady as she was ten years back, with that fabulous sense of humor that her fans first fell in love with. I have seen all of Rose's films by now. Not all of them are necessary masterpieces of cinema but I love all of the characters she's played and their own quirks. With every character, Rose has shown us a little part of herself but also her versatility as an actress and undeniable charisma.

To me Rose McGowan represents an era long gone. Her glamour, sass and screen presence remind me of the Golden Age of Hollywood and its stunning leading ladies. I love how expressive her eyes are and how well she conveys emotion just with one glance. She would have been such a fabulous silent screen actress, much like her idol Clara Bow.

There are many other actors, actresses and directors whom I adore - but no one quite like Rose McGowan. There's just something very special about her. It can definitely be seen in her fan base, which is very diverse and dedicated to the actress.

Lately there have been a lot of nasty comments posted online regarding Ms. McGowan. The point of this message and this project is to show that there are people online who truly care for Rose and her work.

I have this picture just in front of me: big hazel eyes filled with a little bit of sadness, a great deal of inner beauty and strength that splashes out of them; blond hair, curled in gentle satin waves; a small ear hidden behind the golden stream and decorated with a silver earring; porcelain skin like a perfect frame to tender, half-opened lips; a chain of the necklace lost on the white perfection of the neck... See, I have this picture on the wall.

I'm not romantic for a girl of my age, barely sentimental even. I sometimes cry over soapy scenes in the movies, but I don't gather every single episode of B&B on DVD's. I'm your average girl-next-door that watches CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and considers Rose McGowan like a source of inspiration. Why so? Do you remember that Charmed episode called Oh, my Goddess? Yes, I think you got the picture by now. I was somehow suddenly thrilled by a new idea, idea that passed over since then, but nevertheless permitted a book, my book, to be born.

I don't pretend knowing the person that I've never met in my entire life. We all have images, "illusions" about other people. We gather the fewer things we may actually know and build up the whole new person, the one that maybe never existed. But for what it's worth, we do the same with people that surround us. There are pictures in our head, you know. Many-many pictures...

Now, after three paragraphs, you must be wondering what my point is. It's my special, very own way to say thank you. I don't know what for exactly. I don't even know now why I'm actually Rose's fan. Because she's a good actress? There are lots of amazing actresses in Hollywood. Because she's beautiful and unique? She's not the only one. All I know is that no other person, would that be a model, a singer or an actress, fascinated me as much as she did.

You never know what might give you a push in writing a story. Sometimes I got inspired of what I read in a book or saw on TV. Sometimes just a beautiful or uncommon name that I heard makes me create and develop a character, wearing this name. You see, I have this picture on the wall...

I am a Rose fan and i will always be. I have been a fan since 2001.. when i first saw Rose on the screen, she immediately captured me! She was just moving and beautiful! After seeing her, i just wanted to know more about Rose.. I found lots of interviews, pics and videos and i spent days reading and watching! I learned lots of things about her life and about her. I realized i shared lots of opinions with her and i began admiring her, because even having a though life she has become the one she's today. She is obviously a very strong woman, i wish i had her strenght to carry on sometimes.. It was a very though period for me, and it can seem crazy, but the one who helped me to feel better was Rose, thinking about the way she handled her life and seeing her on the screen helped me in a huge way! In a way she wiped my eyes and she turned my frown into a smile. And that is also why i will always be grateful to Rose, even if i haven't met her. She is a great actress and no-one can move me like she can, she always gives me emotions, with every character she's played, she has given me a lot and i have just to thank her. She alwasy puts something different and makes the characters 'real'! Rose doesn't know who i am and she has no idea how many strenght she gave me during these years.. She's been my true helper and i can really consider her my angel.

I love Rose for who she is, a woman with a wicked sense of humor, very very smart, so honest, true and an extremely talented actress.. and she's the only one who's able to make me feel something when i watch movies. She is an amazing gift for me. I can't find the right words to describe how much she means to me, all i can honestly say is that she makes me happy and smile like no one can do.. It's amazing how she can speaks right to my heart. Without knowing it, she can lights up the dark, I could never explain what I feel when i see her. Sometimes you feel so blue inside, so empty and the world is crashing down, and no one seems to do something for you... But sometimes you find a person ,maybe a person that you haven't never met, but this person is the only one who can make you feel alive and happy. That's what Rose is for me.

I know you will not write back, however this is for you. I first came upon you in 1996 with the movie Scream. Then of course your unforgettably role in Jawbreaker. I thought you were amazing and I was excited to see more of you. However, I didn't hear much and wondered where you had went. I will never forget the day I was watching Entertainment Tonight and they said Shannen had left Charmed. They said you, Denise Richards and Jennifer Love Hewitt were in the running. I was SO pulling for you. Sure enough you won the role and so began my love affair with your wonderful acting and the amazing television show Charmed. I had watched the first ep and really wasn't that impressed, however when you joined I was hooked. I was so sad to see the show end.

However, things change, and change is good. What an amazing ending to a wonderful show. I absolutely loved your latest turn as Cherry Darling in Planet Terror, this movie should have been huge. I don't get it. I am so glad to see its doing well in DVD sales. You were also great in Death Proof. I can't wait for your upcoming projects and I have my fingers crossed about Barbarella. I first found Rose in Charmed. It was 2001, at the beginning of season four, and I had never seen an episode before. I didn't even really know what the show was about. It was an impulse watch. I had no idea who was who, who could do what, or what was going on. All I knew is that I really liked the hilariously cute Paige character and the beautiful actress who was playing her.

Almost six and a half years later, I still consider Rose McGowan to be my favorite celebrity and an inspiration to me. I want to be a filmmaker someday and often get asked who in the entertainment industry I most want to work with, and my answer to that question has always, always been Rose. Rose often portrays the kind of unique characters that I wish I could write, and she and I seem to share a love for old movies and glamourous stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. I even have a "Rose wall" in my room, filled with magazine covers, events pictures, and the most recent addition, my Grindhouse movie poster.

Once people realize just how much I love this woman, they often ask me why I'm so dedicated to her, and to be honest, I have no idea. Her movies and quirky characters always seem to completely enchant me, her singing voice makes me wish I could sing like her, her interviews (both video and print) can always make me laugh, even when I'm having the worst day in the world, and just something simple, like seeing new photos from some Hollywood event can make me smile. Being a Hollywood fan, there are several other actors that I like, but I don't admire or adore anyone else like I do Rose.

So, Rose, if you happen to be reading this, I just want to tell you that I absolutely adore you and your films and will continue to support you for many, many years to come!

I'm not a gift for express my feelings but I would like to say how much I love Rose. To me, Rose is a model of elegance-something that the big big big majorities of actresses, singers etc don't own nowadays. She is extremely charismatic, has a great sense of humor (it's always a pleasure to read her interviews) and she is very independant. There is something I do love about Rose.

I first saw her in Scream, but I really "discovered" her in Charmed. She simply became the reason to watch it and of course I wanted to see her filmography. She is an amazing actress. The most talented I've ever seen, but the most underrated too. Her performance in movies like Grindhouse and Jawbreaker for example won't change my opinion. Unfortunately, I didn't see all her movies but I know she is very versatile and that she can play every characters. No matter if it's a comedy or a drama, I'm never disappointed. I don't like to do comparisons, because everyone is unique and everyone is (unique) as his/her own way but Rose has something that others don't have. I love several actresses but she is by far my favorite actress.

Rose, if you can read this support page... I wish you the best, you truly deserve it. No matter what people write or say, it will never change anything - your talent, this great woman you seem to be. I often doubt about a lots of thing, but not on you and your abilities as an actress.

Rose McGowan is a very talented actress. There may be other good actresses, but Rose has a little something more. She's absolutely stunning on screen, the camera loves her and she captivates you in such a way that you can't look at anything else than her. She's very beautiful, and doesn't look like anyone else. She seems to be very smart too, and to have a very cool and strong personality. Her interviews are always very interesting to read, and her own history is fare more interesting than any of her character's! I'm 16 and have been a fan since i was 11, and a huge fan since i started english and have been abble to read her interviews and to learn more about her. Like other fans, when i'm down and i think of her it always makes me feel better. I had never been a fan before, but i guess it had to happen with a person like her lol. Honestly, i don't get why some poeple dislike her, maybe they are just jealous ? The retarded mean-comment posters are just some frustrated poeple protected by a screen that insult whoever they can. I first saw Rose in Scream, and the character Tatum immediatley stood out to me. I loved how funny and beautifull and strong minded she was. Though I was a little too young to become a real Rose fan, I always knew her face, and remebered Tatum from Scream. Later in 2004 a lot of bad stuff happened in my life, and one thursday evening I waching TV, looking for something to watch. I noticed a new episode of Charmed was on, I had only watched a few episodes years ago, episodes without Rose. The first thing I noticed was 'Tatum from Scream'. When actually here she was Paige Matthews. I fell in love with the show, and again Rose's screen presence. What I also loved about the show was, because of the bad things in my life that was going on, it gave me a world to escape to, where I knew everything would always be ok. Later on as I really got into Charmed I would research the girls and the one who I found the most interesting was Rose. I also saw her on the UK interviews she did it 2005 on TV, like TRL, T4 etc...What I noticed was how funny, beautiful, intelligent and charismatic she was in real life. And there it was, I was officially a Rose fan. Since then I have been watching Rose films and collecting magazines, and seeing how tallented and diverse she is. I almost met her once, at the Charmed convetion she was meant to attend in 2006, but she didnt as she got a role in Death Proof. But I still got lots of Paige/Rose merchandise. I admire Roses strength, intelligance, charm, talent and beauty.

Wow, where to start, Ive gotta be honest I didnt know who Rose was until she came into Charmed all those years ago and what an impact she made to the show. Suddenly it becane fun, lively and dynamic she really took charmed in a completely new direction, I started to watch other movies she starred in and realized what a huge talent she possessed. Its rare to find an actress who is not only loud and outspoken but also warm and caring and doesnt let the fame go to her head like all the Victoria Beckhams out there who are rude and dont give anyone the time of day. The media should look at all her good points rather than the bad, in my opinion she is a perfect role model for anybody. Look at it from this point: she doesnt take drugs, treat people like crap or snub her fans. She takes the time to thank her fans. There is photographic evidence of her even giving homeless people money, there are actors who would not give these people the time let alone their money! I think Rose and Robert make a fantastic couple and I think she deserves somebody who will treat her right. She should ignore the press, the only reason they are being cruel is because they are jealous they probably dont have anybody who cares for them so they take their fustration out on two perfectly nice people.

A few words for Rose:: Hold your head high, extend your middle finger and smile dont let them get to you they are jealous, remember that. I wish you all the luck in the world you deserve to be happy who are they to tell you any different. You are hugely talented and successfull always look at the good side of things. Journalists should go back to reporting the real news and stop making peoples lives a misery. I first saw Rose in Jawbreaker and then in Scream, but I didn't become a huge fan until Charmed, and I absolutely fell in love with her. Since I'm only 15 I can still say I think of her as a role model and adore her because she is so funny and beautiful and she seems like a really cool and down-to-earth person. I had to beg my parents to let me see Grindhouse and this summer I'm going to finish watching all of her movies.
