For the sixth version of Rose-McGowan.com we decided to visit the past a bit and use one of our all time favorite photoshoots of Rose, Detour 1997. We chose to use a splash of color for our graphics but overall keep the design simple and clean, it was very well received by the fans! Something special worth noting: we actually worked on this layout and the behind the scenes changes together (face-to-face) for the first time ever, while in Scotland in 2009.

We put up a new layout to celebrate Rose's co-hosting gig on The Essentials. It featured Miss McGowan's stunning InStyle photoshoot of 2007. We really wanted to go for something that was very classic, sleek and reminiscent of the Golden Age of Hollywood, and it couldn't have been a more perfect time to launch it on the brink of The Essentials! The navigation was powered by flash and the header featured a rotation of images of the same photoshoot. This was one of our very favorite layouts to date, for sure!

We put up a new layout to celebrate the fall/winter 2007 season. After the previous design, the fans asked for something featuring newer photos and a less simplistic set-up. Mycah created this look from the gorgeous Crash pictures. It not only features the stunning new photos, but also a warmer color scheme, perfect for both fall and winter. The layout was very well received.

The previous design stayed up for good five months so we figured it was about time for a change. This new design was perhaps more simple than the previous, and showcased the classic side of Rose with these beautiful pictures from her 2001 InStyle photoshoot. We wanted something calm and easy on the eyes for this more quiet period and this served its purpose well.

We continued the theme of fun and sass with the second layout as Grindhouse was just about to be released and we fell for this new picture of Rose published in Interview magazine. Mycah added a fun brush to it, making the lady look like a beautiful fairy. The set up itself was very original and the colors bold and bright mixed with some calming grey.

We wanted something fun and sassy for our first layout. The year had just turned 2007 so what better way was there to celebrate it and the birth of Rose-McGowan.com than using the classic The Face photoshoot as inspiration! We were pleased with the results but ended up changing it for Grindhouse promotion.
