TCM Guest Programmer

Turner Classic Movies (2007)
Miss McGowan, a great lover of the Golden Age of Hollywood, appeared as a Guest Programmer on Turner Classic Movies in November 2007. Rose co-hosted a series of her favorite films with TCM's Robert Osborne. The films Rose personally chose include:
The Night of the Hunter (1955)
Out of the Past (1947)
A Place in the Sun (1951)
That Touch of Mink (1962)
Rose's enthusiasm impressed the vice president of original programming for TCM so her one-time gig developed into a full series, The Essentials, which Rose will again co-host with Robert Osborne. It will kick off March 8, 2008. (read more)
