• "Playing Ann Margret was amazing. I know that the guy who did my costumes did her costumes for years, and I know a lot of people who actually know her. So she certainly knew what we were doing and that I was playing her. They asked me if I wanted to talk with her on the phone and I said 'No, I'm too shy, I'm too shy.' Hopefully she didn't hate it."
• "Interestingly enough Billy Zane, who's guest starring now on Charmed, is going to meet Ann-Margret right after this, I think next week to do a movie with her. I told him to say 'Hi' for me, but she hates seeing herself on screen. She's never seen herself on screen, she's never watched any of her movies. So I don't know how she will react to someone playing her, I would find it strange, but maybe in a car wreck sort of way. Now I'm even more nervous."
• "Playing Ann Margaret, I think definitely has some pressure, it could just be pressure from myself but it is different playing somebody who is alive, I've never had that before and it's a little nerve wracking. But I can make myself feel better because Jonathan has to play Elvis, which is much more daunting."
• "I watched Viva Las Vegas a lot to prepare primarily just because that was the time frame that they were in together. And her looks to him, you can tell at different points watching the movie that they were clearly together by then. So it was just little things like that and just the voice, very kitten-ish."
• "The wardrobe today, during the Viva Las Vegas rehearsal scene that I'm doing, is basically tights and a sweater. And back then I guessed they rehearsed, dance wise, in just tights but really it just looks like your missing your skirt. So in today's version of it, you know, the vision is 'Hi, where's your skirt'. So I kind of felt a little goofy my first thing on the set and I'm meeting everybody with no skirt on. But once I got passed that the outfits are so cute and flirty but not, you know, over the top too sexy or anything like that, that's why I think it was such a great period for women."
• "Well, Elvis and I have a breakup scene. But mostly I just got to make out with him, which was fantastic because Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, who plays Elvis, is incredibly talented and incredibly hot. He has the best lips on the planet, bar none. I basically got paid to make out with this sexy guy and then do one big, dramatic crying scene, which is fine. I was probably crying because I couldn't kiss him anymore."
• "I'm excited about Elvis. I get to go to New Orleans, the end of February. It's with Jonathan Rhys-Meyers who's dreamy and a really good actor, Randy Quaid, who's great and Cameron Manheim, she's playing Gladys; she's a kind of genius. It's wonderful because I get to be Ann-Margret and I have red hair, blue eyes and a tan, so you really couldn't get farther away from Paige, which is excellent."
