• "Well there's, I guess a triangle between Robert Forester's character Jack and Kip Pardue's character Henry, and I, but the drama kind of comes more from Jack's coming to realize that he can't avoid me [Moira]! No, our character's really do love each and there both just these kind of battered spirits, thrown out to see and they kind of find each other in the storm, so to speak and Henry is kind of a catalyst for them realizing it."

• "I think Moira's battered, just you know she's had probably a tough life. Everyone thinks if you look a certain way everything must be perfect and she's probably here to say that it's not."

• "Moira's thing is just kind of getting through life. It's a struggle kind of living on the underbelly of Hollywood, always trying little things here and there to keep her head above water. Maybe things have been turning out not the way she would have hoped."

"She went to Japan and she was probably a formally trained dancer, then through various reasons she kind of wound up at a stip club...Nothing she does is kind of normal, she's not a normal kind of 'ohh' stripper. She's obsessed with hiding behind different characters. Like one day she's obsessed with looking like a Geisha, the next she kind of looks like Marilyn. She's kind of hiding behind wigs, make-up and outfits so when she dances it's more of this kind of like beautiful Geisha dance verus the typical 'woo' stripper - what I imagine a stripper dance to be."

• "So, what do you say, double or nothing?"

• "That is a Geisha's robe. Some of the girls are thousands of years old. Nobody laughs at them. You put one of those robes on and no one can hurt you."

• "I walked on that set and everyone loved me!"

• "I am afraid, Jack. I'm scared I'll blow it. I'm scared that I want it so badly that when I blow it I'm gonna fall to pieces and I won't be able to pick them up again."

• "Maybe there's something for me here... You know, if I had a reason to stay... I wouldn't leave if I had a reason to stay."

• "I don't want to be without you. Just take me to Mexico. I don't care if we don't have anything. We can live in a shack, we can live on the beach."
