A little late due to my busy schedule of late, but here we go! The video and caps of Rose with her friend Linda Ramone discussing Johnny, the celebration and foundation and memories of the late rocker. Rose gets a little teary at one part discussing her beloved friend and it’s funny watching her and Linda’s interaction together. It’s not the clearest quality since my cable was weird that day, but it’s more than watchable. Enjoy!

Nip/Tuck kicks off October 14, next Wednesday at 10PM.
Last season, when Christian was diagnosed with breast cancer and believed he was dying, he asked a very lonely Liz to marry him and she accepted. Prior to departing for their honeymoon, however, Christian learned that his cancer is actually in remission. A vulnerable Sean entered into a new romance with anesthesiologist Teddy Rowe (Katey Sackoff) and adult-film mogul Ram Peters (John Schneider) left a devastated Kimber for Eden Lord (AnnaLynne McCord). Julia recovered her memory after being shot in the head, but later suffered the loss of her new love interest, Olivia Lord (Portia de Rossi).
As season 6 begins, Sean and Christian struggle to keep McNamara/Troy thriving in a failing economy and turn to another plastic surgeon to attain additional income through a new cosmetic procedure for women. After learning the truth about Christian’s true marital intentions and his cancer recovery, a heartbroken and furious Liz sues him for divorce. Matt and Kimber seek new, separate career paths with little support, much frustration and mixed results. Sean remains disillusioned and somewhat distant from Teddy (now played by Rose McGowan), despite their seemingly flourishing relationship.
As you may have noticed, I added photos of Rose’s appearance at the 5th Annual Tribute to Johnny Ramone yesterday but didn’t get a chance to post about it until now. The event took place October 3 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Enjoy the very cute shots of Ms. McGowan paying tribute to her beloved friend, the late Johnny Ramone.

The first episode stills of Rose McGowan’s Dr. Teddy Rowe have been released and added in the gallery. Rose looks absolutely gorgeous! Don’t forget to mark your calendars that the 6th season of Nip/Tuck kicks off October 14. Can’t wait!
Rose McGowan was photographed for the NOH8 Campaign yesterday and one behind the scenes teaser image was already released from the shoot. Below you can find information about this very important cause. Please go and visit NOH8Campaign.com for further details and info on how to join the fight to end discrimination.
On November 4th, 2008, Proposition 8 passed, amending the state Constitution to ban same-sex marriage.
In the wake of the defeat, there has been a groundswell of initiative from within the community at a grassroots level. Seizing this opportunity, new political and protest organizations are forming almost daily. The NO H8 Campaign is a photo project and silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska (http://www.bouska.net) and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8.
The campaign started with portraits of everyday Californians who support Marriage Equality and soon rose to celebrities, military personnel, brothers and sisters, law enforcement, lesbian mothers, directors, politicians, newlyweds, and more. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths symbolizing their voices not being heard and “NO H8” painted on one cheek in protest.
Thanks to our great forum members maxpower03, blake_6060 and RoseRocks for making this update possible!
Don’t forget that Rose will introduce the world premiere of Night of the Living Dead in 3D tonight at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The event is open to the public for a $10 per person minimum donation, with proceeds benefiting the Johnny Ramone research fund at USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center.
Actress Rose McGowan, a close friend of Johnny and Linda’s, who will be on hand to introduce Night of The Living Dead 3-D, concurs on the young people. “I love seeing three-year-old kids with their Ramones t-shirts on,” she tells Spinner. “My four-year-old nephew bops all around to it.”
McGowan, despite having starred in Grindhouse, says she is not a horror film fan “at all.” In fact, when she and Johnny, a big horror buff, would meet up to watch movies she would squash any notions of horror flicks. And yet, here she is, set to introduce a zombie film in a cemetery. “I will be shutting my eyes a lot Saturday. That would fit Johnny’s sense of humor perfectly. He was an imp, a bit of a troublemaker,” she says. “And the fact I have to introduce it, he’d be laughing his head off. ‘Ha, ha, Rose, I got you.'”

According to The Late Night TV Page, Rose McGowan and Linda Ramone will appear tomorrow morning on E!’s That Morning Show. Sorry about the late alert but it was just now brought to our attention.
Please let us know if you’re able to record it – a video clip would be very much appreciated!
Jack in Las Vegas: I just heard that Katee Sackhoff won’t be back on Nip/Tuck. What’s the deal?
Fret not, tuber, she’ll be gracing your screen in 24 this season. “Rose McGowan replaced me [on Nip/Tuck]. I’d only signed on for four episodes, and then I got a pilot, so I couldn’t do anymore episodes,” Katee explained to us at the Madison and Mulholland Charitable Giving Emmy suite (right after she generously donated two Harley Davidson jackets and an awesome Battlestar Galactica helmet to her charity of choice). No hard feelings from the BSG alum, though: “I’m sure she’ll do a great job.”
Check out a most excellent new interview with Rose in our library, courtesy of MetroMix Des Moines. We learn about Rose’s Dylan’s Wake character Charlie and it sounds like a very challenging and great role for our girl.
Actually, I’m basically completely disgusting in this. She is a semi-homeless crackhead who I think is half cracked and half schizophrenic. She somehow latches onto Nick Stahl’s character, and he feels sorry for her and tries to help her, but she’s a tough one to help. It’s funny, though, people want to come to the set and meet me and unfortunately I’m covered in dirty clothes and disgustingly dirty shoes and they put all this oil in my hair to make it look like it hasn’t been washed in a very long time, not to mention makeup obviously doesn’t enhance anything, more like dehances. They also put some brown stuff on my teeth, so these poor people come to set and they want to meet me and it’s a little frightening for them. I know I’m not what they were expecting.
People always say I’m not the girl next door. To which I always reply that I have always lived next door to someone my whole life. I don’t understand that.
I really wish that I could relearn Italian and move back to Italy and do some crazy Italian films. That’s honestly what I wish for more than anything.
Zombies, blood and brains will be on display in glorious 3D as the 5th Annual Johnny Ramone Tribute holds the world premiere screening of George Romero’s classic horror film, Night of the Living Dead, in 3D on Oct. 3 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, Calif.
To heighten the festivities, NVIDIA® will showcase its award-winning 3D Vision(TM) stereoscopic 3D technology and give attendees a chance to play this year’s hottest horror game, Resident Evil 5, to experience what it’s like to have crazed zombies pop out of the computer screen.
The event will kick off at dusk with a showing of the full-length, 1977 Ramones concert, It’s Alive, screened outdoors against a 24-foot mausoleum wall. Actress Rose McGowan (Grindhouse) will then introduce the world premiere of Night of the Living Dead in 3D. The event is open to the public for a $10 per person minimum donation, with proceeds benefiting the Johnny Ramone research fund at USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center. Gates open at 5:30 pm. Picnic dinners, drinks (including alcoholic ones), pillows, blankets and small chairs are permitted. Attendees will receive free commemorative 3D glasses upon entering.
Bloody Disgusting learned exclusively that Elise and Electra Avellan aka “The Crazy Babysitter Twins” from Grindhouse have been added to the ever growing cast of Robert Rodriguez’s Machete.
This time they will be known as “The Sexy Nurses” – perhaps the idea was inspired by their Maxim shoot where they were dressed up as sexy nurses? The twins will be appearing at Spooky Empire in Orlando Florida with Machete co-star Danny Trejo on October 9-11, 2009. There will be a special midnight screening on Saturday night of the twin’s new film The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond at the event.
