This past Wednesday Rose attended the 6th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival. Pictures of the event have been scarce but we’ve found a few as well as some paparazzi shots of Miss Rose leaving the festivities. She looked cute wearing a gray bow top and black pants. Black peep-toes completed the look.
Machete, Robert Rodriguez’s highly anticipated new action film, conceived as an expansion of the faux Grindhouse trailer, directed by Rodriguez with Ethan Maniquis, will have its world premiere at the Lido as the Midnight film, on Opening Night of the 67th Venice International Film Festival.
The 67th Venice International Film Festival will take place September 1 through 11, 2010, directed by Marco Mueller and organized by la Biennale di Venezia, chaired by Paolo Baratta.
To be released on September 3, 2010 in the United States, Machete will have its world premiere public screening (all festival badges admitted as well) at the 67th Mostra del cinema, on Wednesday September 1 2010, in the Sala Grande (Palazzo del Cinema).
According to this tweet, Rose and Linda Ramone will appear on Good Day LA this coming Thursday, July 22. Good Day LA airs weekdays from 8am to 10am PT on FOX 11 Los Angeles and streams on myfoxla.com. They are most likely going to be talking about the 6th Annual Johnny Ramone Tribute, held July 25, which both Rose and Linda will, of course, attend. Click here for further details about the event. Machete is taking over the San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 22! Robert Rodriguez and the cast make a mean taco at the Machete Taco Truck from 5-8 pm and then at 9pm present exclusive footage from Machete with a party to follow. Location: Five Star Parking at 5th Avenue and J Street, San Diego. Be there!
As some of you may have noticed, I uploaded photos of Miss McGowan attending the Los Angeles Nomadic Division Benefit Gala earlier but didn’t have a chance to update about it until now. Rose looked gorgeous in her trademark little black dress and black pumps at the gala, which was held on July 15. LAND is a non-profit public art initiative committed to curating site- and situation-specific contemporary art projects, in Los Angeles and beyond.
