The gallery has been updated with 1,500+ Blu-ray screencaptures of Rose McGowan as Dr. Sonny Blake in Rosewood Lane (2011). Although not my favorite Rose film by any means, I do think it marks one of her more mature performances along with The Pastor’s Wife and hence makes me even more excited to see what the actress has in store for us next!
Don’t forget to pick up your copy of Rosewood Lane if you’re in North America as it is available on both Blu-ray and DVD.
Many thanks to Dale for his helping in sorting out the screencaptures!
According to PR Newswire, Rosewood Lane will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on September 11, 2012 in North America by Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
Directed by Victor Salva, and starring Rose McGowan and Daniel Ross Owens, the film follows Doctor Sonny Blake (McGowan), a radio talk show psychiatrist, who moves back to her childhood home on seemingly idyllic Rosewood Lane after the death of her father. But upon arrival, she discovers her neighbors are inexplicably terrified of the local paperboy (Owens). When their paths collide, she suddenly finds herself in a terrifying fight to stay alive while at odds with this dangerous and calculating sociopath, who may have gruesomely killed her father… and others.
Rosewood Lane will premiere at Screamfest LA 2011 tonight, Saturday (October 15). Check out the website of the festival for further details and to purchase tickets. If anyone is able to attend the screening, we would love to hear your thoughts on the movie and Rose’s performance in particular. It appears that the film won’t be released in cinemas apart from at the festival. RosewoodLaneMovie.com states that it will instead be released on Blu-ray and DVD soon. We’ll keep you posted once we know more!
Speaking of Rosewood Lane, screencaptures have now been uploaded from the trailer for your viewing pleasure.
