Project Spotlight

Dawn (2014, short drama)
Directed by Rose McGowan
Starring Tara Barr, Reiley McClendon and Hannah Marks

"Dawn is really about what we do to young girls unwittingly, and how we send them out into the world completely unprotected, in a way that has, at times, really tragic consequences. Being polite at the risk of your own internal voice of danger being silenced is a pretty dangerous thing."

'Dead Awake'
Article written on August 17, 2010 by Riikkae-mail

The DVD release of Dead Awake (aka Dylan’s Wake) has, unfortunately, been pushed back to January 18, 2011, which means that we’ll have to wait until 2011 for a new major Rose role. Bummer! I’ve uploaded the new poster art for the movie in the gallery. Be sure to pre-order your copy of Dead Awake at Amazon.

Thanks to blake_6060 for sharing the news with us.

What if a stranger held the key to the darkest moment of your life? Dylan (Nick Stahl) is haunted by his past. While searching for answers, he befriends a mysterious woman (Rose McGowan) and is reunited with an old love (Amy Smart) who seem to raise more questions than they answer. Now on the brink of madness, Dylan is transformed by supernatural forces and discovers that no one is who they seem.

'Machete'
Article written on August 1, 2010 by Riikkae-mail

Machete, Robert Rodriguez’s highly anticipated new action film, conceived as an expansion of the faux Grindhouse trailer, directed by Rodriguez with Ethan Maniquis, will have its world premiere at the Lido as the Midnight film, on Opening Night of the 67th Venice International Film Festival.

The 67th Venice International Film Festival will take place September 1 through 11, 2010, directed by Marco Mueller and organized by la Biennale di Venezia, chaired by Paolo Baratta.

To be released on September 3, 2010 in the United States, Machete will have its world premiere public screening (all festival badges admitted as well) at the 67th Mostra del cinema, on Wednesday September 1 2010, in the Sala Grande (Palazzo del Cinema).

'Machete' Video Vault

As if you needed anymore proof of how awesome Machete is going to be, here comes more proof; a bad-ass red band trailer for the flick! Warning: This video is not safe for work (and thus its awesomeness!) Even though Rose is only gonna be in a small part, I’m so excited to revisit the Grindhouse experience on the big screen and I’m sure you are too!
