I was raised in the South so you could definitely say I'm a little bit country but also a little bit rock and roll. My biggest passions include traveling, music and I'm a huge horror fan. In the words of Rose herself, "I'm a pretty swell gal. I don't mean any harm to anybody. Rose was in New York this past weekend for New York Comic-Con. She was promoting Conan with her co-stars Jason Momoa and Stephen Lang. Only a couple of medium quality photos have surfaced thus far, but take a looksie at those in our gallery. Thanks to Laura for her finds!
As we have earlier reported, Lionsgate’s Conan the Barbarian will be released on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD in North America on November 22. Thanks to the The HD Room, we now have further details on the various releases and special features.
The Blu-ray 3D version of Conan the Barbarian is a combo pack including the Blu-ray 2D, DVD and digital copies. The Blu-ray 2D version, however, is a single disc and format set. Lionsgate has priced the 2D version at $37.99 and the 3D combo pack only $2 more.
Bonus features on both Blu-ray editions include two audio commentaries, a history of the Conan franchise featurette, “The Man Who Would Be Conan: Robert E. Howard” featurette, and two additional featurettes examining the action and fight scenes.
According to Amazon, Conan the Barbarian is scheduled to be released on R1 DVD and Blu-Ray in North America on November 22 and on R2 in the UK on December 12, 2011. We will keep you updated once an official announcement, including details on the special features, is made.
Since our video archive, McGowan Media, is still not properly working, I’m embedding a bunch of brand new video interviews with Rose doing promotional rounds for Conan the Barbarian. Be sure to give them all a look, there’s some really interesting footage here!
