Rose McGowan in The Sound

Rose McGowan returns to the big screen with a starring role in The Sound.

Today we bring you a poster, a bunch of production stills and a trailer for the Jenna Mattison-directed movie. The horror thriller co-stars Christopher Lloyd, Michael Eklund and Richard Gunn, whilst Jenna Mattison wrote the script. Shot in Toronto, The Sound will be released later on in 2017.

It has been a long while since we’ve last seen Rose McGowan on the silver screen so this film will be quite the event for all the fans of her acting work.

Read on for a synopsis of The Sound and click to view the newly released media.

Kelly (Rose McGowan) is a writer and a skeptic of the supernatural. As a specialist in acoustic physics she uses low frequency tactile sound-waves to debunk reported paranormal activities for her online blog. When presented a new case of a supposedly haunted subway station Kelly sets off to uncover the truth behind the hoax that involves a 40-year-old unexplained suicide. Her investigation takes her deep into the abandoned station where her skepticism is tested. As Kelly ascends into the depths of the metro’s darkness she is confronted by an unforeseen evil. In the vastness, she must face her own haunted memories to find the truth and surface back into the light.

The trailer for John La Tier’s The Tell-Tale Heart, starring Rose McGowan, Patrick John Flueger and Peter Bogdanovich, has just been released. It looks very atmospheric, visually arresting and promises a great role for Rose. I, for one, cannot wait to see this one!

So, how did you ladies & gents enjoy Rose’s Once Upon a Time episode?

Personally, I had never watched the show before but I really enjoyed it, especially Rose’s performance as younger Cora. She more than held her own opposite the great Robert Carlyle, which really says a lot! It was such a treat for us fans. I really hope we’ll see more of young Cora in future episodes!

I have uploaded 900+ high definition screencaptures from The Miller’s Daughter in our gallery. I hope you like them! In addition, I added a bunch of high quality stills and behind the scenes images from the episode during the weekend but didn’t have a chance to update about them until now. Many thanks to Storybrooke for these beautiful images!

Rose Back on Once Upon a Time?

No Comments / leave one

Very exciting news on this beautiful morning! According to E! Online’s Watch with Kristin, Rose McGowan might be back on Once Upon a Time for the show’s next season!

Read on for details – but beware for some potential spoilers.

Nicole F.: Can you tell me anything else about Rose McGowan’s character on Once? I’ve been obsessed with her since Charmed!
That’s a great question, which is why we posed it to McGowan herself. We already know she’s playing a younger version of Cora in an origin episode airing next month, but did you also know she’s part of a love story? “I fall madly in love, and then it ends tragically,” she tells us. “Most of my stuff is with Rumple. And it was an amazing experience and I’ll see them again next season.” Next season? Does this mean we’ll see her character again? “It’s in the works,” McGowan tells us coyly.
