Broadway World just reported that Rose will be taking part in The 2010 Gay Days at Disneyland starting today, October 1.
The 2010 Gay Days at Disneyland presented by Undergear are set to take place Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 3. For its 13th year, the event is expected to attract more than 30,000 LGBT park-hoppers from California and all over the country.
The weekend opens Friday, October 1 with Wonderland, a dance party with DJ Ray Rhodes (Tiger Heat, KBIG 104.), hosted by Los Angeles drag diva Momma. And just added: Rose McGowan will host the VIP Lounge. The event, which benefits The Trevor Project, runs from 9:30pm-1am at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen located in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort. Tickets are $20 at the door.
Gay Days Anaheim is a “mix-in” with the park’s other weekend guests, but gays and lesbians are encouraged to wear red shirts in order to identify each other and to show strong numbers. Official T-shirts are available at the official Gay Days at Disneyland website. Note: Gay Days Anaheim is NOT a Disney-sponsored event so Disney will not have any information regarding the “unofficial” happening.
Rose McGowan announced via Twitter that she will play Mrs. Howell in an upcoming movie adaptation of Gilligan’s Island! The story, based on a 1960s television series, follows a group of tourists who are marooned on an island after their tour boat, the S.S. Minnow, is shipwrecked in a storm. The seven trapped people comprise a colorful group.

President Obama’s approval rating recently dipped to an all-time low of 39 percent, and Hollywood actress Rose McGowan think it’s because he isn’t pleasing the “left” enough.
“I would like Obama to be tougher on going up against the Republicans, I don’t think he should try to be so moderate,” she told Pop Tarts at the Art of Elysium event in Los Angeles on Saturday evening. “I think the reality is that they’re going to hate him no matter what.”
