Rose and the Grindhouse gang, including Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Rosario Dawson and Freddy Rodriguez, made an appearance at the 2007 ShoWest Awards in Las Vegas yesterday. Quentin and Robert were awarded as Directors of the Year while Rosario and Freddy won Supporting Actress and Actor of the Year. Congratulations! Miss McGowan was looking absolutely fabulous in a black and white polkadot Dolce & Gabbana dress, pairing it with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin pumps. It looks like she had a lot of fun with co-star Rosario! I’ve added 99230 HQs to the gallery from her appearance.

There is a big Grindhouse special in the newest issue of Premiere magazine, it was kindly scanned for this site by Abbey. It is really interesting, it shows the recreation of Cherry’s machine gun leg and a new still (takes a sharp eye to notice). We now have scans from the March 2007 issue of Fangoria magazine, thanks to Mariana of our sister site Ode to Azia. The magazine not only features a whole lot of new information on Grindhouse, but also a brand new picture and interview with Rose herself!

Rose made an appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party tonight. She looked very sexy in a skin tight, white number with a long slide slit. She wore platinum and diamond earrings, bracelet and ring by Neil Lane.
Inside Rose was photographed with rumored boyfriend Robert Rodriguez, George Lucas, Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, Tom Cruise and Katie Homes. The 54 first pics can now be found in the gallery.
On February 22, 2007 Rose McGowan attended the 2007 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Oscar Party, hosted by Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith in Beverly Hills.
Rose probably will be slated in the trash magazine’s Worst Dressed polls again, simply because as of last week the Roman/Toga look went out of the picture. But all in all Rose looks stunning, and her hair in a subtle change.

Our Rose went to a new event yesterday in Los Angeles – ‘Graydon Carter with David and Sybil Yurman Celebrate Vanity Fair‘s Hollywood Issue at Mitch Glazer and Kelly Lynch’s Home’.
She was looking lovely and posed for pictures with Vanity Fair‘s Krista Smith. I’ve only come across one photo so far but hopefully the future will bring many more.
The Weinstein Co. have been going wild over Grindhouse, even predicting it to be at least in the top 10 box office movies of 2007. But in order for that to happen mass publicity is the core. And judging by the new poster for Grindhouse, it will definitely pay off.

My lovely friend Stef sent in 372 DVD screencaptures of Rose’s role in Ready to Rumble. No, it is not exactly Rose’s most acclaimed role but perhaps one of the hottest anyway. Enjoy the Nitro Girl goodness.
