Project Spotlight

Dawn (2014, short drama)
Directed by Rose McGowan
Starring Tara Barr, Reiley McClendon and Hannah Marks

"Dawn is really about what we do to young girls unwittingly, and how we send them out into the world completely unprotected, in a way that has, at times, really tragic consequences. Being polite at the risk of your own internal voice of danger being silenced is a pretty dangerous thing."

As some of you may have noticed, I uploaded photos of Miss McGowan attending the Los Angeles Nomadic Division Benefit Gala earlier but didn’t have a chance to update about it until now. Rose looked gorgeous in her trademark little black dress and black pumps at the gala, which was held on July 15. LAND is a non-profit public art initiative committed to curating site- and situation-specific contemporary art projects, in Los Angeles and beyond. Please pay a visit to their website for further details.

Many thanks to Mariana for sharing the HQs with us! If anyone has any more, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

'Machete' Gallery Video Vault
Article written on July 10, 2010 by Riikkae-mail

The trailer for Machete has been released and may be viewed under the cut. Rose McGowan’s character has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance around 1.03 minutes into the trailer. So awesome to see some new material featuring Rose!

A bunch of new Machete posters have also been released, which I’ve uploaded in the gallery. None of them feature Rose, though, but perhaps our Cherry will get her own poster shortly – here’s to hoping!

I just how discovered that earlier this month, on June 10, Rose attended the book release party of Bret Easton Ellis’ Imperial Bedrooms. Rose, dressed in black, posed for photos with the famed author himself.

I’ve also added photos of Rose looking gorgeous in Alberta Ferretti at the Ferzan Ozpetek Retrospective this month as well as a shot from the 16th Annual Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards , heldback in February. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to find one or two small-ish photos from all of these event but, as always, if any of you manage to find more please do not hesitate to contribute!

We finally have a new theme up in the gallery. It features a photo that is new, from Rose McGowan’s personal Twitter page. We both fell head over heels for it when we saw it! We really hope we might see more from this set one day.

I hope you enjoy the new theme. Stay tuned for some very big, and fun changes to Rose-McGowan.com in the coming week!
