Rose McGowan attended two additional events yesterday at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Diane Von Furstenberg fashion show and dinner party. She wore a classy little black dress to the dinner party and spiced it up in a floor length electric blue number for the show itself, both very pretty looks!
By the way, could this be the cutest picture ever? 😉
Rose made her first big red carpet appearance of 2008 earlier today, sitting in the front row at Herve Leger by Max Azria fashion show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2008 in New York City. She sat next to Australian actress Melissa George and posed in photos with designer Max Azria and actress Amy Smart. Check out the gallery for the first image additions from this event. Rose sure looks amazing – wow!!!
It has been a while since I’ve capped Charmed episodes so I thought I’d catch up a little. I capped four episodes from season 7. I especially love Paige’s look in Extreme Makeover World Edition – the red top and red lippy are super hot, don’t you think?
I come bearing goods! Thanks to the great Rose fan Michael, I was finally able to create screencaptures and clips from one of Rose’s rarest movies, The Killing Yard. It has never been released on DVD, only on VHS, and hence is harder to come by. However, it is a great watch as Rose plays a character unlike any other she’s ever played and does a lovely job as Linda Borus. Enjoy the downloads!
A little bit of trivia: we now have screencaptures of all of Rose’s movies – except for Seed. But then again, I’m yet to encounter a fan who’s ever even seen it, it is that rare. Here’s to hoping we’ll get it one day!

Not a while lot is going on in the McGowan fandom at the moment so I thought I’d post this little tidbit from Page Six, which mentions that Rose will be attending a new event next week:
THAT Chloe Sevigny will help BlackBook magazine celebrate its Hollywood issue at the Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday with the likes of Jaime Pressly, Rose McGowan and Janet Jackson.
As you may remember, Rose graced the cover of BlackBook back in April/May 2007.
Update: Rose did not attend this event.
Also, our awesome forum members managed to dig up pictures from a Marni dinner that Rose, along side Amber Valletta and Angela Lindvall, hosted back in October. I remember reading articles about this but never actually finding any pics so it is great to see some now.
Some sites have published their annual “Best and Worst” of 2007 lists and sitting on many is Grindhouse! I know it’s personally my favorite movie of last year. The movie also sits at #170 of IMDb.com’s top 250 movies of all time. Here are a few excerpts as well as scans from Entertainment Weekly‘s Best of 2007 December 28th issue and Wizard – May 2007.
It’s a real shame that Grindhouse performed so poorly, although it’s nice to see Tarantino and Rodriguez get a dose of reality. Although the films don’t really have a good repeat value, the experience of seeing this in the theater with the faux trailer was more than epic. It was the experience of a lifetime… too bad you all missed it. Suckers.
From Entertainment Weekly
Its commercial failure is easily explained: In the ADD era, asking audiences to sit through a three-hour double feature of droolingly fetishized meta-trash was madness. Yet Grindhouse is a scuzz marvel, a feast for B-movie junkies. Robert Rodriguez’s zombie orgy Planet Terror, starring Rose McGowan and her machine-gun leg, may be the slyest genre send-up ever; it’s the Far From Heaven of schlock, with a wink of a giggle embedded in every faux-grimy frame. As for Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, it’s more than the most stupendous car chase since… you name it. It’s also a rock-on vision of sexual warfare, with Kurt Russell’s sleazy Stuntman Mike using his demolition-mobile as a carnal battering ram, only to run headlong into a new age of much faster pussycats.
Rose has been snapped shopping in the Los Angeles area in the past few days. Yesterday she looked gorgeous in blue taking photos with her IPhone while waiting for her car after doing some shopping at Barney’s in Beverly Hills. On Friday Robert and her went to the Farmer’s Market and The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles. Rose kept warm in her adorable hat and coat.
Rose partied up at the Alexandra Von Furstenberg, Jacqui Getty, Ryan Haddon & Shiva Rose Holiday Party in Beverly Hills on Saturday. She looked as pretty as a princess in a breath-taking sleeveless swing dress.
Back in September, we reported about Rose being photographed in Milan for Vanity Fair Italia. It seems that shoot has surfaced in the pages of the December 2007 issue with the Dalai Lama on the cover, on sale now!
Rose looks nothing short of stunning with her flaming red champagne color hair, pin-up looks and in her very Barbarella themed attire. Huge thank you to forum member RoseRocks for scanning the pages for us to see! An english transcript of the article should be available shortly.
Can you believe it’s the end of the year and we’re still seeing such amazing new coverage with Rose?! This truly has been a fun year for us fans, wouldn’t you say! 😉
The Rose-McGowan.com Photo Gallery has a new look! It features Rose’s stunning outtakes from this year’s Italian Vogue. It was made by myself and we really hope you all like it! However if you prefer the lighter gray tones you can still select the old theme from the drop down menu at the bottom of the page. 😉
Furthermore, we have done a lot of remodeling and uploading in the photoshoots section. As regular visitors may notice, the shoots are now assorted by their years, then alphabetically by magazine. Over a hundred new shoot images and missing outtakes have been added so be sure to register/log in to view all of our Rose McGowan photoshoots dating back to 1995!
