Rose was featured in People magazine last month and scans have now been uploaded to the gallery. I’ve had the issue for a while but only just got my scanner fixed last week so apologies about that. The article is really great and Rose talks about growing up in the Children of God cult, so its really interesting. It included a new photoshoot and some childhood photos.

Rose McGowan plays evil sorceress Marique in the new Conan the Barbarian film, but her exaggerated forehead – aka her “10-head,” as she called her character’s look, was simply down to movie magic.
“The studio asked if I would shave my eyebrows and my hairline back to here, and I said, ‘Sure, if you give me $5 million,” Rose laughed as she visited Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday.
Instead, the look of Marique was crafted in a makeup room.
“I sat from around 2 in the morning until about 7 in the morning,” she explained.
In Conan, which opens this Friday, Rose stars alongside Jason Momoa in the title role, and the former Game of Thrones actor impressed her on set.
“He’s a doll,” she said of the actor. “I call him like, the sweetest barbarian there ever was.
“He’s so amazing in this part,” she added. “He’s what [original Conan creator] Robert E. Howard [imagined]… Jason looks like he just stepped out of the pages of the comic book. Jason looks like he was born to battle with a big sword.”

Yesterday Rose McGowan attended the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards, was held at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California.
Rose showcased two looks at the event. On the red carpet she opted for a strapless star print dress with a sweet-heart neckline by Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011. Neil Lane earrings and ring, Lia Sophia bracelets, a silver Judith Leiber clutch and red Brian Atwood pumps, which matched her lipstick also contributed to the look. Finally big bouncy curls completed it. I really love this look here, it is one of my recent (if not all-time!) favorites, I must say!
At the actual show she spiced things up in a sexy little red dress and nude pumps.

The article and photoshoot for Prestige is now available on the magazine’s official website, or alternatively can be read in our library.
In the interview Rose goes on to talk about her role in Conan, the TV movie she’s been filming (if you’ve been following her on twitter you are surely curious about it!), and her image in Hollywood.
Well, if you actually think about it, I’ve never been arrested, I’ve never been busted for drugs, never got arrested for drunk driving, never gotten out of the car without my underwear on. There’s actually nothing that I have done in my life that would actually fit the bad-girl image. That’s the funniest part of it all, and all of my friends know. That’s why they laugh.
