Rose McGowan is doing her best to look as young as she can for as long as possible.

The actress, 37, shares her beauty do’s and don’ts – and one the facet of her life that grows more precious with time.

When it comes to her beauty do’s, Rose rattles off a few top tips as her boyfriend Rob Adams stands in the background.

“Always use moisturizer, and always wash your face,” she tells me at A Fool’s Fete Spring Dance hosted by New Yorkers for Children to benefit youth in foster care held Tuesday at Mandarin Oriental in NYC.

What’s her beauty don’t?

“Don’t smoke,” she tells me. “You’ll look like an old hag if you smoke!”

One “old thing” she holds onto is her Scream buddies.

“Of course I’ll go see Scream 4,” she says. “I’m excited about seeing the old gang. I see Neve [Campbell] from time to time, I see Courteney [Cox] from time to time, and I see David [Arquette] more than anybody.”

Rose McGowan attended the 8th Annual New Yorkers For Children Spring Dinner Dance in New York yesterday. Our lady was an absolute vision, wearing a titanium yellow strapless wrap gown by Dolce Gabbana, a beautiful multi-colored jeweled necklace by Lorraine Schwartz and ruby earrings. Just stunning!

Shockya has an exclusive interview with Victor Salva, who wrote and is directing the upcoming thriller Rosewood Lane. The movie, which is set to be released next year, stars Rose McGowan as a talk show psychiatrist who moves back to her childhood neighborhood. Once there, she is harassed by the local paperboy. Here are the bits concerning Rosewood Lane. In the interview he discusses the movie and why he casted Rose as Sonny Blake. Her role sounds incredibly interesting and he speaks so highly of Rose’s talent – can’t wait!

ShockYa (SY): Your upcoming movie, Rosewood Lane, follows a radio talk show psychiatrist who moves back to her childhood home after her father dies. But once she’s back in her old home, she finds out the local paperboy is really a young sociopath who is targeting her. Where did you come up with the idea for the story?

Victor Salva (VS): It’s hard to say where an idea comes from, because by the time it is fully rendered in your mind, you’re not sure exactly how it germinated. It’s not even possible usually to trace back what brought it into existence in the first place.

As time allows, I will be going through all the recorded episodes of 2008′s The Essentials I have saved and add captures and clips to the site. Unfortunately I don’t have all the episodes recorded and some have quality issues, but I have a good bit to add to the site so at least that is something to look forward to. :)

For today I have added four clips. Rose discusses A Face in the Crowd, Fanny, Modern Times and Woman of the Year in these. Screencaps are also up for viewing.
