According to Hollywood Life, the dress Rose wore to the Golden Globes After Party is actually a vintage dress that used to belong to classic screen siren Ava Gardner. How cool is that?
Rose McGowan wasn’t wearing any old dress when she showed up at the InStyle and Warner Bros. 67th Annual Golden Globes post-party on Jan. 17 — the striking blue strapless number Rose donned belonged to famed actress Ava Gardner! Talk about channeling a screen siren. But before she showed up looking all old Hollywood, Rose apparently talk her dog out to poop while wearing her dress!!! She tweeted, “Getting ready 4 Globes parties, had 2 take a break to take my dog out for a potty. nothing like picking up dog doo whilst wearing an eve gown.” OMG Rose, if you slipped that could have ended in disaster!! I think next time you should try to take your pup out before you get all pretty — but hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go, right?
If you’re wondering how Rose managed to score such a special dress, it came from a vintage dealer! Aren’t you dying to know how much this priceless piece went for? I know I am!!

“getting ready 4 Globes parties, had 2 take a break to take my dog out for a potty. nothing like picking up dog doo whilst wearing an eve gown.” – Rose McGowan
Miss McGowan attended the 11th Annual Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe After Party on the evening of January 17. She looked like a beautiful princess in a stunning midnight blue gown and silver accessories. This is definitely one of my favorite recent McGowan looks but, then again, it seems I keep on saying this often because Rose has been looking magnificent on the red carpet recently!
I also added three shots of Rose attending The Art of Elysium’s 3rd Annual Black Tie Charity Gala “Heaven” on January 16. I hope we’ll be able to find more shots from the event in the future.
Update: New photos have been added from the Golden Globe After Party, courtesy of Mariana, robmadden1 and RoseRocks. Thanks, guys!

Here’s our first look at Charlie, Rose McGowan’s character in the upcoming movie Dylan’s Wake. I think it looks like a very different role for her and I can’t wait for more information and release details on the project. Thanks to Blake for his much valued contribution!
I’ve also updated the gallery with some candid snaps of McGowan outside Chateau Marmont back in late December. She looked casual yet gorgeous!

Happy New Year 2010, McGowaniacs! How about starting the year by bidding on a pair of Rose’s autographed shoes? The proceeds go for a good cause, 1st Annual Heel Hate Benefit for The Matthew Shepard Foundation.
Rose McGowan Autographed pair of Vero Cuoio red heels in size 36. Both are autographed on the side of the heels. One of the heels has “NOH8!” written on the other side.
The Matthew Shepard Foundation understands that like the Stonewall Riots of 1969, the murder of Matthew stands as a watershed moment in civil rights. During 2010, the Foundation will work in collaboration with the LGBTQ movement and the anti-violence movement to honor this anniversary. Equally important, the Foundation must be strong to withstand the efforts of the religious right to distort history. They are committed to fighting for inclusive hate crimes legislation and they will do what it takes to achieve passage of this milestone human rights legislation.
Bid on the gorgeous shoes over at CharityBuzz.com!

I have some shocking and devastatingly sad news to report today. Actress Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, according to reports. She was just 32-years old. It seems that Rose was friends with Brittany as they’ve been pictured hugging at various events. To pay tribute to Brittany, I’ve updated the gallery with photos of the two gorgeous ladies.
“Brittany was like champagne – sparkly & bubbly. Whenever I saw her, it was always laughter. Thankfully, her laugh will forever be preserved on film.” – Rose McGowan
Rest in peace, Brittany. You will be dearly missed!
