Rose McGowan announced on Twitter that she will be in Iowa to film indie movie Dylan’s Wake. Filming starts August 31. Here’s what she said:
Breaking news!! I’m heading to Iowa to film a movie called Dylan’s Wake. Very well written indie. my co-star is Nick Stahl – so talented. directed by Omar Naim who did The Final Cut, which I loved

She also posted the following regarding Red Sonja:
To clarify press reports: Red Sonja is delayed. I pulled out of doing it in ’09. Not permanently. Hopefully will follow Conan.
I am still contracted to do it Red Sonja. Hopefully Filming in ’10 not ’09
It’s all well and good if Rose had a hard year. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but she herself said that Black Oasis was shelved because of the writers strike, and Barbarella was dropped in favor of Red Sonja. So what is true? Is she still doing The Bell Jar? Or did she drop out of that as well?
Rose I am watching dogs 101 and you are on with your Boston Terriers. My God I am so sorry for your loss and this episode brought tears to my eyes. I am from Boston, and love those dogs too, though I have a cat cause apartment living is not good for a doggie. Keep up the good work.
