In California, voters approved a constitutional amendment to outlaw same-sex marriages. With almost all precincts reporting, Proposition 8 had 52 percent approval. Prop 8 eliminates the fundamental right for same-sex couples to marry. An estimated 5,000 people, including Rose McGowan, gathered in West Hollywood last night to oppose Proposition 8 and show their support of gay marriage. Rose held up a sign that read: “I am a victim of the H8.”

Darn, 52%? It was two percent away from being rejected? So close! Well, that just sucks even more. Kudos to Rose for publicly denouncing Prop 8!
