Rose McGowan and Minnie Driver posed with editor Emma Forrest at a chick lit reading of Damage Control: Women on the Therapists, Beauticians, and Trainers who Navigate Their Bodies, held at LA’s Chateau Marmont hotel. Proceeds from the benefit book event were donated to Women for Women International, an organization that raises money for women in war torn nations.
Thanks to Laura for the heads up!
She was there because she actually wrote an entry for the book. “Rose McGowan explains why it’s harder to be depressed when you’re glamorous . . . and shows how it takes a village to transform from mere mortal to movie star.”
Wow, nice find! That is indeed true!
