Six pictures have now been added from the Death Proof press conference, that was just held in Cannes.
Edit: Producer Harvey Weinstein was also present at the press conference and according to NYpress.com, he had the following to say about the future re-releases of the Grindhouse films:
What you see when you see Planet Terror—and what you see when you see Death Proof—is Robert Rodriguez making a Robert Rodriguez movie, and Quentin Tarantino making a Quentin Tarantino movie, for esoteric reasons. These guys put out their movies at the same time and crunched them together. That removed some of the essence of the films. The scene with Stuntman Mike [where Russell receives a lap dance] makes it a completely difference experience. It’s a thirty second scene. It’s like saying, ‘OK, I cut Kill Bill and Sin City to 70 minute versions because I wanted to call it Grindhouse.’ To me, you’re missing the essence of Rodriguez and Tarantino. So yes, we had a good time doing Grindhouse, but we’re working with audiences…and hopefully we’re going to release it in America. They’re going to get a lot more enjoyment when they see those films as intended. We will dwarf Grindhouse. Trust me.

I agree Mycah. You have to give them praise for that. you have to take gambles. Walt Disney did that. Actually the 1st Fantasia bombed at the box offices and was edited (for nudity. Yes disney had bare breasts for the female centaurs and the harpies). It wasn`t until years later it was considered a masterpiece. hopefully it will NOT take 30 to 40 yrs. until it becomes popular. As usual Rose is hot. Excuse me while I drool.
